I. Course Objectives:

• Introduction to Latin language.
• Reading and understanding of easy texts with special emphasis on analysis.
• Introduction to Roman culture and literature.

II. Course Description:

• The course will consist basically in a general presentation of all aspects of Latin Grammar.
• The necessary skills for a morpho-syntactical analysis will be provided and put into practice.
• Several readings from selected works of Latin literature will be proposed and the student should prepare a paper on one aspect.
